
The estate spans 125 hectares, 95 of which are planted with carefully tended vineyards. Quinta de São Luiz features a visitor centre, wine tastings and a wine shop. Guests can also stay at The Vine House, a small boutique hotel, and dine at São Luiz by Chef Vítor de Oliveira, a gastronomic concept deeply rooted in the traditions of the Douro.

During your visit to Quinta de São Luiz, you will discover the history of the Douro, the estate and the vineyards, alongside the winemaking process - from the harvest through to ageing. The experience concludes with a tasting of our still wines and Port Wines.

At Quinta de São Luiz, visitors will find a dedicated space not only to the purchasing of São Luiz and Kopke wines, but also the wider Kopke Group portfolio. The shop is accessible even to those who are simply passing through.

Blending charm and comfort, this accommodation – set within Quinta de São Luiz – results from the restoration of a former family home. The various spaces reflect a relaxed, welcoming vision, where comfort and timelessness come together through traditional architecture and carefully selected artisanal elements that tell the story of a Port Wine House with almost 400 years of history. The Vine House features eleven rooms, all overlooking the Douro River, offering front-row views of a landscape of outstanding beauty, as well as an infinity pool and a restaurant.

The Vine House is home to a restaurant led by Chef Vítor de Oliveira, whose experience dates back to 1994. The Douro River serves as the primary inspiration for the culinary concept, rooted in regional traditions and presented through flavours that are crafted and served in an informal, organic style.
