With one of the finest views over the Douro River, Quinta da Boavista is one of the most iconic estates in this demarcated region, renowned for its historic association with Barão de Forrester.

Of the Quinta's 80 hectares, 35 hectares are planted with vineyards, with particular emphasis on the varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Tinto Cão.

Part of the vineyard area is also dedicated to Old Vines, most notably the Vinha do Oratório and Vinha do Ujo, from which come the two great iconic wines of the brand’s portfolio.
